CAD Engineer
at Auto component manufacturer - Client of Cynosure in Chennai
Mission
• Responsible for design activities concerning EV/HEV projects (Electrical Vehicle/ Hybrid Electrical Vehicle)
• Strong Interpersonal competence and good team player
• Guarantee the respect of best practice and standards, establish and capitalize new standards when applicable
Responsibilities
• Perform system, assembly, component design
• Prepare solid models, detailed drawings with ISO cotations, bill of material, tolerance stack up and specifications
• Manage engineering changes for the product
• Work together with other R&D sites in Europe & Asia for Product Design/Development
Education
• BE in Mechanical Mechatronics/Automobile Engineering from a reputed institute or university
• Experienced in product design and development process in Automotive industries or similar background experience
• Certification on CAD package in a reputed institution preferably on CATIA V5.
Candidate Profile
• Candidate must have 1-2 years of significant professional experience in R&D
• Enough knowledge on engineering concepts like GD&T, stack-up Tolerancing, Optimization techniques, DFIMEA, Value engineering /Value Analysis
• Know how to use IEC and DIN standards for electromechanical products and IP ratings
• Basic selection methodology on materials
• Understanding on manufacturing process preferably on die-casting, stamping and plastic moulding
• Exposure to reverse engineering and prototyping
• Experience in automotive industry desirable
Languages
ENGLISH : FLUENT Knowledge in French or any other European language would be a plus
